Have you ever wondered about the wildlife that inhabits the Red River Gorge? Join us at the Gladie Visitor Center to learn more!
Enjoy a guided 90 minutes Wildlife Walk with Joy Hopkins from Lighthouse Guiding and Seven Hills Farm.
There is a wealth of wildlife in the Daniel Boone National Forest, and if we are attentive and aware, it’s possible to find where some animals are as well as where some have been. Kids and adults of all ages can join a naturalist guide in exploring the various habitats around the Gladie Visitor Center, searching for living creatures as well as learning to notice their traces: not only footprints, but other forms of tracks.
Participants will practice using many of their senses to discover these traces while enjoying the natural surroundings and beauty of the
Red River Gorge.
All ages welcome. Pre-registration required ~Email Education Director, Matt Christian – matt@gofindoutdoors.org
