FIND Outdoors would like to welcome you to Anna Ruby Falls as we gather around the campfire with renowned North Georgia storytellers Emory Jones, Garrison Baker, and the Hardman Farms Living History Group. Hear stories of our wise ole’ mountains and intriguing characters that make this place unique.
Emory Jones is a local author, who grew up in the foothills of the Southern Appalachia. He has written a variety of books, documentaries, plays, and columns all dedicated to North Georgia. Garrison Baker is a retired probate judge and served White County for over 20 years. He is still heavily involved with the community and serves on the White County Historical Society, alongside Emory Jones. Both these men have a true respect and love for the area and will show it through their tellings of the past.
Hardman Farms State Historic Site is Anna Ruby Falls’ sister site, and, in fact, Anna Ruby once lived their herself! Anna Ruby Falls is excited to partner with the Hardman Farms Living History Group to celebrate the one-of-a-kind North Georgia region.
As Emory Jones, Judge Baker, and the Hardman Farms Living History Group share their tales, participants are welcome to partake in smores provided by FIND Outdoors. This ooey gooey treat will be the perfect side dish to a night of spectacular stories.

We will have picnic tables available for participants to sit at. If you would like a more comfortable chair, please bring your own folding or camping chair.
