Participants will be lead on an after hours guided hike up to Anna Ruby Falls. After the sun sets, the forest will be lit up by beautiful fireflies and the amazing bioluminescent phenomenon that is Foxfire.

Come find out at Anna Ruby Falls’ Foxfire Night Hike. Guests will be treated with a guided hike up to the falls and will get to view the amazing bioluminescent phenomenon that is Foxfire.
8:00pm sharp!
If you have one, please bring a red-light flashlight. We will not permit the use of any other flashlights, because they disrupt the viewing of Foxfire and make it difficult for participants’ eyes to adjust to the dark. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes. Close toed sneakers are best for this event. You may also want to bring a light jacket or rain gear depending on the weather.
Being a campground host is an exciting opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, meet new friends and provide assistance and information to visitors.
