The Chattooga River begins in mountainous North Carolina. From its origin, it flows southward for 10 miles in North Carolina, and then continues for 40 miles as the state boundary between South Carolina and Georgia, dropping almost one-half mile in elevation before reaching Lake Tugaloo. This recreation guide provides descriptions of each section of the river including information on waterfalls, rapids with their class designations and approximate float times. The guide also provides information on trails, roads, parkings areas, boat launches, picnic and camping areas. Waterproof. Scale 2″ = 1 mile.
