Celebrate your mother over Mother’s Day weekend with some fun morning activities at the Cradle! We will start the morning with a one-mile fun run/walk on the Biltmore Campus trail. The top 3 winners will get a Cradle of Forestry season pass. Families will participant is a fun family education program about growing plants and how Native Americans farmed the land long ago. After the short education program participating families will be given all the materials, they need to plant a traditional three sisters garden in the Cradle’s traditional garden space and mark it with a stone they decorate. Families can visit throughout the season to check on their crops. Join in on this fun and meaningful way to celebrate in nature with your mom.
