Employment
We offer job opportunities in the areas of campground management, maintenance, and hosting, plus environmental education and retail.
If you’re interested in multiple positions, please fill out only one job application and follow up with an email stating the other opportunities you’re interested in.
Full-time Employment
We offer full-time (30+ hours a week) opportunities across our sites, with optional summer-only OR year round employment.
Seasonal Campground Hosts
If you enjoy traveling and seeing different parts of the country while “workamping” and making new friends, becoming a campground host might be an exciting opportunity for you. We value our employees just as much as we take pride in providing excellent customer service to our visitors.
Hosts in good standing are given first choice to come back the following season, and the option to choose a different location.
Benefits include a flexible schedule with plenty of time for play, and a campsite with electricity, water and sewer hookups. Most have access to WiFi and laundry facilities. We request a minimum of a three month commitment.
Part-Time Visitor Center Staff
Part-time visitor center staff welcome guests, manage gift shop operations, operate ticket booths, and drive our shuttle fleet. Part-time staff work between 10-20 hours a week and receive an hourly wage.
Volunteer Seasonal Visitor Center Hosts
Visitor center hosts greet visitors, provide information, and run gift shops in exchange for a site and full hookups at one of our visitor center locations.
Education
Education staff specialize in environmental education- encouraging and managing educational opportunities at all of our visitor centers and campgrounds. Education staff lead field trips and tours, host special events, and inspire visitors to build meaningful connections with public lands. We also offer internship opportunities in our education department for those eager to gain hands-on experience.”
