Falls to Farm Hike

This hike spans what was once the vast estate of Hardman Farm’s proprietary family, the Nichols. This area is now home to Anna Ruby Falls Visitor Center, Unicoi State Park, the City of Helen and Hardman Farm State Historic Site. Explore natural history features along the Smith Creek Trail weaved with man-made historical features such as the Sautee Ditch, a hand dug water supply for two gold stamp mills in the 1800’s.

Hike includes shuttle from Hardman Farm to Anna Ruby Falls, four aid stations, swag bag, points of interest handouts for the hike, post-hike meal, tour of Hardman Farm and commemorative t-shirt.

DEADLINE FOR T-SHIRT REGISTRATION is Dec. 1! If you decide to join us after this date we will do our best to accommodate your t-shirt size selection.

The hike will begin and end at Hardman Farm. Limited to 37 participants. Tickets available online 24/7 through Eventbrite. We will take registrations past the t-shirt deadline until the event is full.

This is a moderate/difficult hike that traverses 11.5 miles , 1112 elevation gain, shallow water crossings and is best suited for experienced hikers. Please see the virtual route video and map below to determine if this hike is for you.
