Discover the history and legacy shared between Hardman Farms and Anna Ruby Falls!
Nestled in the mountains of the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest, Anna Ruby Falls is north Georgia’s famous twin waterfall steeped in history. Its namesake comes from the falls’ previous owner – Captain John H. Nichols – who named them after having discovered the beautiful landscape while horseback riding with his daughter, Anna Ruby. Thus, her legacy lives on at both the falls and Hardman Farms State Historic Site, her former home just 20 minutes from the Anna Ruby visitor center.
In partnership with Hardman Farms, FIND is bringing history to the present day at Anna Ruby Falls! Join us anytime from 11 am to 1 pm, where you’ll get to meet the folks that connect these two places that share a story to be remembered in north Georgia. You may even get to meet Anna Ruby herself!
