Falls to Farm Hike – This hike is an 11-mile, one-way hike that celebrates 151 years of shared history between Hardman Farm and Anna Ruby Falls! Take a hike back in time through what was once the vast estate of Hardman Farm’s proprietary family, the Nichols. This area is now home to Anna Ruby Falls Visitor Center, Unicoi State Park, the City of Helen and Hardman Farm State Historic Site. Explore the natural history features along the Smith Creek Trail weaved with man-made historical features such as the Sautee Ditch, a hand dug water supply for hydraulic cannons and two gold stamp mills in the 1800’s. The hike includes a shuttle ride from Hardman Farm to Anna Ruby Falls, four aid stations, swag bag, points of interest handouts for the hike, post-hike meal, tour of Hardman Farm and commemorative t-shirt.
