FIND Outdoors is partnering with the Atlanta Astronomy Club for a night full of looking up at the cosmos. Join us at Brasstown Bald for our “Gazers of the Galaxy” workshop. Expert astronomers will guide you through the night sky and assist you in using high-powered telescopes to get a closer look at our universe.
Have you ever gazed up at the night sky and wondered what was “out there”? Now’s your chance to view Brasstown Bald’s scenic vista in a whole new light – or dark!
FIND Outdoors is partnering with Atlanta Astronomy Club at the highest point in Georgia to discover the hidden mysteries of Georgia’s darkest sky. Expert astronomers will guide participants through the night, interpreting the wonders of the universe through their galactic stories and expertise. You will also be given the opportunity to use high powered telescopes to explore our universe even further. You’ll become a “Guardian of the Galaxy” after spending an evening learning about the magic of deep space and North Georgia’s incredible nightscape.
