Ever wonder who’s singing in the treetops or flitting through the forest, or your backyard? Join birding enthusiast Steve Matadobra for an introduction to the world of birdwatching. This talk will cover Birding 10 – including gear you may want (and why your own eyes & ears are actually your best tools), tips for getting stated and where to go for the best birding in Pisgah National Forest.
Steve will also dive into the incredible diversity of birds that call Pisgah home, seasonal migration patterns and the conservation challenges facing our feathered friends. Whether you’re a total newbie or just looking to level up your bird knowledge, this talk will help you see, and hear, the forest in a whole new way.
