What's in the Creek? at Anna Ruby Falls

Come to Anna Ruby Falls on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 or Friday, July 12, 2024 from 10:00 am-2:00 pm to learn how to learn what you can “FIND” in the creek at Anna Ruby Falls.

You will learn through hand’s on discovery information about:

• The creek bed: What lies under the water taking a closer look at the rocks, soil, banks and more.
• Vegetation: What type of vegetation is present? What plants do you find in the water, on the banks and growing on the rocks?
• Animals: What animals use the creek as a habitat? Do you see fish, snails, worms, turtles, frogs, birds, snakes, and a variety of insects?
• Nooks and crannies: What you think lives under the rocks, in the holes in tree root clumps, and in the vegetation?
  This is a fun activity for all ages!
