Doll Mountain Campground and Recreation Area, operated by FIND Outdoors in partnership with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. A scenic lake destination nestled along the shores of Carters Lake in the North Georgia Mountains, Doll Mountain offers a mix of wooded and waterfront campgrounds. It is a peaceful place for both tent and RV campers alike; the recreation area allows you to relax and enjoy the peaceful lake setting.
The recreation area has easy water access that allows you to boat, fish, swim, or just relax by the water! However you want to spend your weekend by the lake, Doll Mountain has you covered. Whether you are planning a weekend getaway, family vacation, or a peaceful mountain retreat, Doll Mountain offers an unforgettable North Georgia outdoor adventure.

Turn right onto GA-136 East and continue toward GA-382. Turn left onto GA-382 and follow signs toward Doll Mountain. Turn onto Doll Mountain Road and continue following signs to the campground entrance.
From Ellijay, GA
From Ellijay, follow GA-515 South for approximately 2 miles and turn right onto GA-382.
Continue on GA-382 for approximately 7 miles, then turn right onto Doll Mountain Road. Follow Doll Mountain Road and posted campground signs to the recreation area.

Woodring Developed Directions & Arrival Information
Woodring Developed Campground sits right on beautiful Carters Lake in North Georgia. It is a quiet place to camp, fish, or launch a boat for the day. The park offers 42 sites total, with options ranging from basic primitive spots to developed campsites. Campers get access to a private boat ramp, a small swimming beach, and a life jacket station right by the entrance gate.

Harris Branch Beach Recreation Area, operated by FIND Outdoors in partnership with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, is a popular day-use area for any summertime activity. A popular rugged day-use area for swimming, picnicking, boating, and fishing, this area offers plenty of fun activities for you to enjoy. Harris Branch is a perfect spot for a quiet and relaxing day by the water. With plenty of nature trails nearby as well, you will have endless opportunities to enjoy your day.

Continue through the Ellijay area to GA-282/US-76 and turn west toward Carters Lake. Follow GA-282/US-76 for several miles, then turn left onto Harris Branch Road. Continue on Harris Branch Road to the recreation area entrance.
