







Woodring Developed Campground sits right on beautiful Carters Lake in North Georgia. It is a quiet place to camp, fish, or launch a boat for the day. The park offers 42 sites total, with options ranging from basic primitive spots to developed campsites. Campers get access to a private boat ramp, a small swimming beach, and a life jacket station right by the entrance gate.
It is a great spot if you want an easy, picturesque getaway on the water. Check-in starts at 3 PM and check-out is at 12 PM, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the lake.

From Atlanta, take I-75 north to Exit 293; follow Highway 411 north. Turn right on Highway 136, then left on old Highway . Turn right on Highway 282/76. Campground is located 4.5 miles off Highway 282.
From Ellijay, GA, take Highway 282/76 west for 11 miles to the access road and follow signs to the developed campground.

Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash or kenneled at all times. Please clean up after your pet!
