Parking and Restrooms

Designated accessible parking is available near the Discovery Center. The parking area includes four standard accessible parking spaces and one van-accessible parking space.

Restrooms are available inside the Discovery Center during operating hours. Accessible stalls are available within these restrooms.

Trails and Outdoor Surfaces

The Cradle offers paved interpretive trails in a forest setting. Although these trails are paved, visitors should expect natural outdoor conditions that may include roots, uneven areas, and changing surfaces.

Mobility Assistance

Wheelchairs and other mobility devices are not provided at the Cradle of Forestry.

Service Animals and Pets

Service animals are permitted in accordance with applicable law. Dogs are welcome at the Cradle as long as they are leashed, well behaved, and under control. Pets may pass through the Discovery Center lobby to reach the trails, but are not permitted in the exhibit hall, movie theater, or gift shop. Visitors are responsible for cleaning up after their animals.
