Arkaquah Shuttle at Brasstown Bald

Experience the Arkaquah Trail as a one-way hike without the need for a second vehicle.

This pilot shuttle service provides one-way transportation from Brasstown Bald to the Arkaquah Trailhead on Trackrock Gap Road. After being dropped off, hikers will complete the hike back to Brasstown Bald at their own pace. This is a self-guided experience. FIND Outdoors does not provide hiking guides or return transportation.

The shuttle will be offered on Saturday, June 27, Saturday, July 11, and Saturday, July 18, 2026. There will be NO shuttle on July 4th. Departure is at 8:00 AM from the Brasstown Bald parking lot. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before departure.

Tickets are $30 per person and include shuttle transportation and admission to Brasstown Bald.

Reservations are required and all participants must sign a liability waiver before departure. A minimum of eight participants are required for the shuttle to operate. If the minimum is not met, or if severe weather requires cancellation, participants will receive a full refund.

The Arkaquah Trail is a strenuous hike with significant elevation gain and is recommended for experienced hikers who are prepared with appropriate footwear, adequate water, food, and other necessary gear. Well-behaved dogs are welcome. Participants under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

This shuttle service is being offered as a pilot program. We appreciate your participation and feedback as we evaluate future opportunities to expand hiking shuttle services at Brasstown Bald.
