Event Details

Adults and youth alike are often surprised to learn how many different products come from trees. This interactive exhibit helps to convey just how much we depend on trees in our daily lives, and more specifically, what individual tree parts we can thank for them! Many forest products come from trees in less obvious ways.

Visitors can play a matching game where they try to organize the Tree Product Cards into the tree parts responsible for them, including wood, bark, cellulose, sap, fruits and seeds, leaves, and roots.

Plan Your Visit:

Parking & Fees: Parking is available at the Cradle of Forestry near the discovery center. Please check in with the front Fee Booth and pay the regular Cradle of Forestry entrance fees in the gift shop.

Format & Participation: This interactive exhibit will be on display from August to November.

Schedule: This program is available on-site, seven days a week during regular hours.
