Explore Appalachian Geology & Cherokee Culture

Event Details

Join us at Doll Mountain Campground & Recreation Area for an exploration into the geologic and cultural history that has shaped our Blue Ridge Mountains for centuries. Learn how the Appalachian Mountains formed to become among the oldest ranges in the world. You’ll also learn how to make your own topographical mountain and create a special craft that reflects the cultural significance of mountaintops in Cherokee symbolism!
