Nocturnal Animals Scavenger Hunt - Van Hook Glade

Did you know that nocturnal animals are awake at night but spend most of the day sleeping! Come join us and see if you can spot all the nocturnal animals.

Join us at these campground recreation areas to learn more about the animals that go bump in the night.  Be on the lookout for spiders, bats, raccoons and a host of other animals that you will most likely encounter after dark.

Plan Your Visit

Campers can explore our campground trails and other public outdoor areas at any time to find our hidden cartoon animals! Pick up a Nocturnal Animals booklet from a staff member to learn fun facts about each animal as you discover them. Remember, please leave all animal signs where you find them so the next campers can enjoy the hunt too. Happy exploring!
