Join FIND Outdoors and the Georgia Department of Natural Resources at Lake Rabun Beach for Snake Days!
The Georgia Department of Natural Resources will be leading a program including reptile models and a live specimen display for the public to gain a better understanding of our slithery snake friends. In this program guests will learn about the anatomy, morphology, and lifestyle of Georgia’s native snakes.
Plan Your Visit
Parking: Visitors should park in the designated parking lot of the recreation beach area. Day use fees apply.
Physical Location at Site: Our educator will be located at the Lake Rabun Beach Area. Restrooms, parking, and of course swimming! – are available at this location.
Participation Type: Drop by anytime between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM to learn more about slithery snakes!
