When the sun sets over the rolling ridges of North Georgia, there’s no better place to watch than the highest point in Georgia, Brasstown Bald.
To celebrate the fall season, hours of operation will be extended to 7:00 PM, with the last shuttle tickets being sold at 6:30 PM. This schedule will be subject to change based on crowd numbers, weather, and other factors. The Visitor Center and mountain-top store will also remain open late, offering guests refreshments, souvenirs, and exhibits about the mountain’s unique ecology and history.
Visitors are welcome to remain on the deck after closing to enjoy the twilight, but those choosing to linger should plan to hike down on foot.
Located in the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest, near Young Harris & Blairsville, Brasstown Bald offers 360-degree views across Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
