North Georgia offers plenty of trails and waterfall hikes, all located near Lake Rabun. The most popular on-site trail is Angel and Panther Falls.

Angel Falls/Panther Falls 
Length: 1.75 miles round trip
Difficulty: Moderate – the first stretch to Panther Falls is easier, while the push to Angel Falls gains more elevation with stone stairs and metal cables.
Surface: Uneven terrain, rocky and rooty. 
Trailhead Location: Near the visitor center

Hurricane Falls Trail  
Length: About 2.25 miles round trip
Difficulty: Difficult – requires descending hundreds of metal stairs and crossing an 80-foot suspension bridge that sways above the roaring water.

Tallulah Gorge and North and South Rim Loop Trail 
Length: 1.9-mile loop
Difficulty: Moderate
Estimated Time: 1-1.5 hours

Tallulah Gorge Overlooks Trail
Length: 2.6-mile loop
Difficulty: Moderate
Estimated Time: 1.5-2 hours
*To ensure the safety of animals, pets are not allowed on the gorge floor, Sliding Rock Trail, and Hurricane Falls staircase leading to the suspension bridge. However, leashed pets are welcome on the rim trails.
