Fees & Reservations
Morganton Point Campground & Recreation Area offers overnight camping and day-use recreation along the shores of Lake Blue Ridge.
Camping reservations are managed through Recreation.gov and cannot be made, changed, or canceled by calling or emailing the FIND Outdoors office. Visitors planning an overnight stay are encouraged to reserve their campsite before traveling.
The Morganton Point Recreation Area is open to both day-use visitors and campers. Campers can walk the short path to the swimming area, and day-use visitors can park in the designated parking lot after paying the day-use fee.
Campsite Reservations
Morganton Point Campground offers standard campsites for tent and RV camping.
Reservations can be made online through Recreation.gov or by calling the National Recreation Reservation Service at 706.374.1645.
When reserving, review the individual and double campsite information carefully. Campsites may vary in size, parking space, equipment limits, river access, and other features. Your Recreation.gov reservation will provide the most current availability and site-specific information for your stay.
