Carter's Lake Kickoff: We had an incredible day at Carter's Lake Kickoff: We had an incredible day at Carters Lake last Saturday, May 16, celebrating partnership, community, and the outdoors!

FIND Outdoors was honored to join the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Friends of Our Beautiful Carters Lake for a kickoff event that brought together partners, campers, and recreation users from across the lake. The day was filled with great BBQ, meaningful partnership conversations, and shared excitement for the future of Carters Lake recreation and stewardship!

A highlight of the day was a fun run with the Scouts BSA, bringing energy, teamwork, and a lot of smiles.

And of course, no USACE event would be complete without a visit from their beloved water safety mascot, Buddy the Beaver, who made a special appearance to help promote safe and responsible enjoyment of our waterways.

Grateful for strong partnerships and a shared commitment to caring for Carters Lake and everyone who enjoys it!
